The CB Scheme is an international program created by the International Electrotechnical Commission for Electrical Equipment (IECEE) for the acceptance of product safety test results among participating laboratories and certification organizations around the world. The CB Scheme offers manufacturers a simplified way of obtaining multiple national safety certifications for their products — providing entry into over 40 countries.

Local Testing for Worldwide Safety Compliance
Through our global network of testing labs, Intertek provides four National Certification Bodies (NCBs) for the CB Scheme and numerous CB Testing Laboratories (CBTLs).
How can we help?
- As your CBTL and NCB, we can issue your CB Test Report and corresponding CB Certificate to help you obtain multiple national safety certifications for your product.
- To obtain a national certification without additional testing, we’ll help you submit your CB Certificate and Test Report to an NCB in a participating CB Scheme country.
