Urgent Update on the Implementation of the Ivory Coast Conformity Assessment Scheme known as Verification of Conformity (VoC)

As you may recall we recently informed you that The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) has introduced a Conformity Assessment Programme called "Verification of Conformity".

All shipments of regulated products with a Bill of Lading (B/L) or AWB dated on or after 16th July 2018 should be accompanied with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for clearance of the regulated goods at Ivory Coast Customs.

Regulated Products include:

 

• Food products

• Electrical and Electronic products or Renewable Energy

• Cosmetics and Hygiene products

• Construction Materials

• Packaging

• Vehicle Spare parts, accessories and lubricants

• Machines

• Pressure equipment

• Personal protective equipment

• Products affecting health, safety and environment

• Textiles

• Footwear

• Toys
